Zarmac Benefits has been providing benefit programs for companies over the last 15 years. It is very satisfying that our first group benefit customers are still our clients today!
At Zarmac our business is really quite simple. We meet with a company and listen to what they would like to accomplish with a benefit package. Once we clearly understand the goals of the company and the financial resources available, we help them to map out an effective strategy to meet these targets, and maximize the use of the premium dollars available.
In the early years, we had used traditional insured programs almost exclusively to solve our client needs. However, more recently there have been a number of exciting new options become available in the benefits world to help our clients keep their employees happy. Of course, the HealthCount program is one of these new approaches to providing benefits.
While it is very important to be current, we believe that most successful businesses are not built on “cutting edge” technology, or new age business ideas. (After all, call centres are the result of this type of thinking, but it’s hard to find a customer who likes them!) It is our belief that successful companies are built on a keen interest in being responsive when your customer needs you the most.
Accordingly, at Zarmac, we have built our business by working hard at the basics:

- We communicate clearly and avoid industry jargon
- We solve customer problems with a minimum of fuss
